We have written this blog to help you understand and get the most out of your waist trainer. These are our top 10 tips for using a Waist Trainer From My Waist Trainer.
These tip will be focused on our Casual Everyday Waist Trainer however, the advice we share can be used on other trainers like the vest style and sporty trainer.
, Use your waist trainer as an aid, this is one of our biggest tips, as some people think that just wearing a waist trainer is enough. This is wrong, you have to pair the trainer up with a healthy diet and exercise to get the most out of it.
, Do not wear a trainer that is to small for you, even though a small trainer will tuck your tummy, if its to tight you risk causing your body damage. If you use the right size, combined with tip 1, you'll get long lasting results.
, Let your body get use to the Waist Trainer before trying to wear it for long periods of time. This is crucial for people new to waist training as you don't want to over do it. Start small with a few hours at a time to ensure that you like it and that it feels good then once your comfortable, start upping the time you wear it.
, You need to give yourself a break, even the most aggressive waist trainers take days off. Like the old saying, Rome was not built in a day, so why rush your palace? You should take breaks in between so that you are not over doing it and not causing any harm to your body.
, You need to stay consistent, don’t stop wearing your waist trainer after a week because you don't see the results you were hoping for, you’d never expect to see huge results from a diet in that space of time, so why should waist training be any different? In order to see the results you’re looking for, you need to remain consistent.
, When it comes to waist training its important to stay hydrated. Some of us like to workout when we have our waist trainers on, this creates perspiration and our body loses water through our sweat. Replacing this is very important so make sure you drink plenty of water. We always recommend 1.5 - 2 liters every day as a minimum.
, Postpartum waist training - Our Everyday Waist Trainer can help your abdominal muscles return to their original shape by pulling the muscles and skin closer together. Many women such as myself struggled with being active post-pregnancy so not only does the waist trainer help you get your body back into shape, it helps you function much better to.
, If you’re between sizes, choose the larger one. A Waist Trainer is meant to be tight, but not to tight. You will not achieve your desired results any faster by using a smaller Trainer. You could also cause more harm to your body by not sticking to the right size.
, Have a spare waist trainer, so when one needs cleaning. (follow washing instructions bellow, however the drying process can take up to 24hr) you can wear your spare one in the mean time so your not missing out on any training days.
, Always make sure you wash your waist trainer on a regular basis if you use it a lot during sweaty activity's. You can find more details about washing your waist trainer on our other blog.
